How to Play Games
Select a game that you wish to play by clicking on one of the Game Categories on the left. All the available games in that category will then appear in the main screen of the web site.

To play the game, click the “Play” button next to the game icon. This will launch a new game window. The game will load into this window, and then you simply follow the game play instructions for each game.

How to Register
Click on the free Registration block on the left. This will load the Registration page into the main screen of the web site.

Fill in your Email address, the Nickname you want to use on the site, and choose a Password. Enter this Password a second time to confirm it, and then select the country and time zone in which you live.

Once you’ve done this, you can choose an avatar icon to represent you by clicking the “Select Your SkillCon” button. You will then see a list of all the available icons – click the icon you want and you will be returned to the registration form, with the icon you have chosen displayed in the form.

Now that your registration form is complete, click the “Submit” button. An email containing your registration details will be sent to you.

If you make a mistake while filling in the form and wish to start again, click the “Reset” button at the bottom.

How to Chat
You can chat to other players while you play games. The Chat box appears on the left of the game screen that you play the game in. To start chatting, enter your nickname and click the “Login” button.

The Chat Room will open and you will see a list of all the users who are currently in the different chat rooms. To see a list of the different chat rooms, click the “Rooms” tab at the top of the chat box. To change to a different room, click on the name of the room in the list. To return to the list of users, click the “Users” tab.

To chat to one of the users, click the arrow next to the name and select “Chat”. This will start a chat session between you and that user. Type what you want to say and click “Send” at the bottom. To finish chatting, click the X at the top of the little chat window.

To view the entire chat room that you are in, click the Home icon at the top left – the chat screen will change to show all the chat dialog that is happening in the room you are currently in. To chat, click in the Message box, and click send. You can use the format buttons to make a word bold, italicized or underlined. Click the “Colors” button to change the color of your text in the chat window. You can also insert smilies, by clicking the “Smilies” button and clicking the one you want to use.

To leave the chat room, click the Close button (Power Off icon) at the top of the chat window.

How to View High Scores
You can view the High Scores for each game from the game window. Launch the game in the usual way and beneath the game screen you will see a link to “View High Scores” for that specific game. Click on this link and a new window will open where you can see a list of the high scores for the last 7 days, for the current month and the All Time high scores for the game.

You can also see the High Scores for selected games on the right of the main site window, in the Leader Board box. Click on the game name and a new window will open containing the All Time high scores for the game.

How to Change your Avatar
You can change your avatar (the SkillCon icon that you chose to represent you when you registered) at any time. At the top right of the main site page you will see a box with the heading “My Stuff”. This contains all your personalized information, your scoring and game play history, and various other actions that you can take.

Click the My Profile link. This will take you to a page containing all your personal information. Click the “Change Your SkillCon” link. You will see a list of the available avatars - click the one you want. You will be returned to the information form – click the “Submit” button to save your new avatar.

How to Change Your Password
You can change your Password at any time. At the top right of the main site page you will see a box with the heading “My Stuff”. This contains all your personalized information, your scoring and game play history, and various other actions that you can take.

Click the “My Profile” link. This will take you to a page containing all your personal information. Enter the new password you want into the “Change Password” field, and again in the “Confirm Password” field. Click the “Submit” button to save your new password.

How to Change Your Time Zone
You can change your Time Zone Location at any time. At the top right of the main site page you will see a box with the heading “My Stuff”. This contains all your personalized information, your scoring and game play history, and various other actions that you can take.

Click the My Profile link. This will take you to a page containing all your personal information. Select your new time zone using the “Your Location” drop down list. Click the “Submit” button to save your new location.

How to View My Scores
You can view your Scores at any time. At the top right of the main site page you will see a box with the heading “My Stuff”. This contains all your personalized information, your scoring and game play history, and various other actions that you can take.

Click the “My Scores” link. This will take you to a page containing all your scores on all the games you have played. Use the links on the page to see your scores for the last 7 days, the current month and your all time scores.

How to Challenge a Friend
You can Challenge a Friend at any time by clicking the “Challenge Friends” link in the “My Stuff” box at the top right of the main site screen.

This will bring up a page containing your top scores on all of the games you have played. Next to each is a “Challenge a Friend” link. This allows you to challenge your friends to beat your best scores.

When you click on this link you have the option of challenging friends that are already registered on the site, or friends who have not yet joined.

To challenge the former, enter their details in the search boxes, and click “Search Players”. The page will refresh and if the player is found, select the name and click the “Challenge Players” button to send a challenge to this player.

To challenge friends who are not yet members of the site, enter their name and email address and click “Send Challenge”. An email will then be sent to your friend containing instructions on how to join and accept your challenge.

This page also contains information on Pending Challenges (challenges you have issued to other players that they have not yet accepted), Declined Challenges (challenges you have issued that others have rejected) and Challenge Results (challenges that have been accepted, with the results).

How to Enter a Tournament
You will see a Tournament box on the right hand side of the main site screen, containing a list of games for which tournaments are currently running. Click on the game that you want to enter a tournament for. (If the game you want isn’t in the list, click “View All” to see all games for which tournaments are running.)

Either way, you will then see a page containing a list of the tournaments you can enter, along with the dates that the tournaments are running. There is a “View Leaderboard” link so that you can see who is currently leading, and what the highest scores are.

To enter the tournament, click the “Play Now!” button. This will launch a new window containing the game. Play the game, and when the game ends, you will be shown a button that allows you to post your score to the tournament leaderboard.

How to View the Winners Wall
To view the Winners Walls for the various tournaments, click the “Winners Wall” link in the Tournaments block on the right-hand side of the main site screen. You will be shown a page containing the following information:
- The name of the tournament
- The game that was played
- The start and end dates
- The status of the tournament
- A description of the tournament
- The winners, their positions and their prizes

How to Log Your Game High Score
If you have scored a high score on any game, you will be shown a button to log your high score in the game window when the game has ended. Simply click this and your score will be logged.

How to Refer a Friend
You can refer a friend at any time by clicking the “Invite a Friend” link in the “My Stuff” box at the top right of the main site screen.

You will then see a page allowing you to fill in the names and addresses of the friends you want to invite and a message that will be sent to them via email. You can edit this message. Click the “Invite” button to send the invitation to your friend/s.

How to Contact the site
You can contact us at any time by clicking the “Contact Us” link in the “My Stuff” box at the top right of the main site screen.

Simply complete the contact form on the page that comes up and click “Submit”. If you want to erase what you have written and start again, click the “Reset” button.

How to Add Free Games to Your Website / Blog
You can add free games to your own web site or blog at any time by clicking the “Pimp Your Blog” link in the “My Stuff” box at the top right of the main site screen.

You will see a page containing a list of all the free games that you can add to your site or blog. Select the game you want to add, and click the “Get Code” button beneath the game. You will get a page containing the HTML code to copy and paste onto your own site. This will allow the game to appear on your site, for others to play when they visit it.

How to Use the Game Guides
There are a number of ways to view the Game Guides. The first way is to click the “Game Guides” link in the “My Stuff” box at the top right of the main site screen.

You will then see a page with a list of game categories (Action Games, Strategy Games etc) – click on a category. You will then see a list of all the games in that category. Click on a game and you will see a complete guide to how to play.

You can also view a Game Guide for any game that you are currently playing by clicking the “Game Help & Rules” link at the bottom of the games screen.

How to View Another User’s Mini Profile
It’s easy to see another user’s mini profile. Wherever you see another user’s name appearing anywhere on the site, click on the name and you will see their profile, the last 3 games they played and their 3 most played games.
